1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LetScribe ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. LetScribe is operated by LetScribe ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

LetScribe provides AI-powered transcription services that convert audio and video files to text. We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Features and limits vary by plan.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or use someone else's account. Notify us immediately at support@letscribe.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Transcribe content you do not have the right to reproduce
Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Use automated scripts to abuse free-tier limits

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in USD. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. We use Stripe for payment processing and do not store your full card details. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any audio, video, or text content you upload or generate. We do not claim rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. The LetScribe platform, software, and branding are our intellectual property.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% transcription accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetScribe's liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the billing dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
